Wheel ... Of ... Panties!!Preference in panties varies widely, and with so many different options - boyshorts, thongs, bikini cut ... cotton, satin, lace ... patterns, solids, funny sayings across the bottom - there is something for everyone. But what about color.
In chatting with other spankos, many have shared their strong preference for one particular color of panties on a soon to be spanked girl. For some it's the classic white - traditional, innocent, and very schoolgirl-ish. For others it's red - the panties providing a target color to turn the target area. And for those like Richard Windsor (whose number one favorite I believe is white; white nylon to be precise), a fond memory has led to a close second in preference - purple. Seems that a bratty girl once flashed her amethyst colored panties during intermission at the ballet and the image left a lasting impression on ol' Sir Windsor.
If I had to choose just one color, I'd pick aqua blue. Not only do I like the color in general, I think it also contrasts nicely with a well-spanked, red bottom peeking out the sides.
When it comes to panties, what is your color preference? Does a certain color make a girl's bottom that much more spankable? Is there a particular color you don't like to see? Is your favorite panty color the same as your general favorite color? Bratty minds are curious. :)

Personally the color really doesn't matter to me, although I think blue is a complimentary feminine color (contrary to popular opinion) and you certainly look very good in blue :)
I do remember a young lady once who was preparing to receive her daily bedtime spanking from her husband, and she decided to wear her only red pair of panties for the discipline, and ended up with an unusually sore bottom. Her husband spanked her cheeks until they matched the color of her panties, and as a result she never wore them again ;)
Just about anything but white, for me. But I do have a preference for black lace, simply because I think it's sexy. I love red, also. Red and black are my two favorite colors to wear, period, so I guess it stands to reason they'd be my favorites for panties.
But sometimes I like to mix it up, with purple or turquoise, or a pretty print. Panties are kind of like wrapping paper for spankos, aren't they? :-) -- Erica

I do have a pair of black cheeky hot-short style panties that have northernspanking.com printed on the back in raised hot pink felt. They're lovely, except I very rarely find reason to wear them!

I’d say any colour so long as it matches or complements the skirt/jeans or whatever you’re wearing. I hate clashing panties! (Some years ago, after getting aggravation from the girls at my workplace after showing up wearing a tie that didn’t match my shirt, I found out how to do colour matching.)

You got me down to a tee, brat!! As you are probably aware from the story I wrote about the first spanking I ever gave, the girl that day was wearing white nylon panties and it has struck a cord with me ever since. Whenever I encounter this nowadays it reminds me of that first time and it is always a good thing!!

I checked my drawings and noticed that most are with white panties (in the case panties are worn anyway). Or the typical school girl panties in darkblue or bottlegreen.

I too have many different panty colors and styles. Variety is a good thing.
Randy's husband's favorite is definitely red. He considers it a challenge to match the hue and an irresistible temptation. I now know not to slip those on without a full understanding of the consequences!

My fav color is dark blue, for panties and anything else for that matter. Another color I like is red, but a deep dark red. I like the bold colors the best and I agree with you that they look good with a red bottom peaking through. Another fav of mine is panties with sayings on them or little cartoon charters, or some kind of design. I always try to match my panties with my bra- but sometimes that can't be done no matter how hard I try.
As for panties that I don't like are thongs, not only do they not leave anything to the imagination they feel like floss for your butt- who wants that?

I don't personally like thongs in any colour - nor anything with lace. I agree with Amy about the panties reflecting the "age" of the spankee. And with Steve about the need for panties not to clask with the rest of the outfit. I think there is something special about black, and about white - but perhaps the most important thing is that the colour of the panties goes with the hair colour and complexion of the spankee: so your aqua blue ad Chloe's pink are great for you respectively.
I like thongs best. I have a fantasy about a girl getting spanked for wearing a thong when she's not allowed to.
With all this talk of panties, it's easy to overlook the pure delight when your babybrat lays herself across your lap in her too-short skirt, watching as it rides up high enough to reveal that she's not wearing any panties at all.

While some colors can look especially good on the to be spanked bottom, depending on skin color and other clothing, and some colors look great at mid-thigh, complementing or contrasting with the reddened cheeks above, the most important thing about panties is that they come down.

I like the top layer, the underwear and the bare behind. All have their virtues. A good skirt, dress or slacks/shorts/jeans can get a guy started thinking about the bottom and all are good warm-up shock absorbers.
Panties show a girl's secret passions and sense of humor. The other day my wife wore a strict brown pants suit, then underneath, she had on delightfully colored rainbow-striped panties. Panties are also a tease, for years girls and women have let their panties be glimpsed during various activities and have driven guys crazy. Do you really think girls wanted to become cheerleaders only so they can yell at athletic events? Panties too can set the stage for the intermediate level of spanking.

You know, I think the light aqua blue does look great. Whenever we go anywhere, I ask my boyfriend what I should wear and he says "Give me options" and picks out my panties. He likes classic stuff, white a definite,y but also, just more classic panties, solid colors, little lace, etc.

to be hontest with you i am more of a thongs man i love it when female wear differnt pair if thongs. running second is boyshorts they can be in any color red,blue,green purple or black and i be happy camper,
i hate all white for some reason to me doesn't look good on a female. now a little red on the butt that a differnt story.
Definitely white is my fave, followed by feminine pastels (light blue, lavender, pink, light green). Bonus points for lace trim, days of the week, or "Hanes Her Way" on the waistband.
On a side note: I used to have a girlfriend that insisted that I refer to that garment as "underpants" or "underwear", never "panties". What do you think?
I have a major panty fetish. I have tons and it's still not enough. I have to admit I cant pick just one pair Id rather wear over the other lol. I know most Tops and mine is no different love the whole white cotton panty look. I have only one pair of those. I just dont get the turn on with them lol. mike - Well, if a woman wears white, there's an extra incentive for you to add a little red hue to the color scheme.
Southern Expat - I've heard of people preferring not to use the word panties before, but for me, I like the word when referring to women's bottom coverings. Underpants and underwear are more generic terms in my mind; applicable to either male or female underclothing whereas panties are a female term. That's just me though.
Emily - You must have one very impressive panty collection! That's so cute that you change panties every half hour at spanking parties. Makes sense though. With so many cute panties why not take every opportunity to show them off. :)
