We've experienced a serious server crash which is why you are not currently able to access the Punished Brats website and why the majority of the photos on my blog are not showing up. We are doing everything in our power to get the site reestablished as soon as possible but it may be a little rocky for a while.
We are hoping our webhost will be able to extract all of our files and transfer them to a new server and avoid having to reload the entire site (which would be a very time consuming process). Please keep your fingers crossed for us!
Sorry for the bad news and inconvenience! :(
Edit: 10:17pm EST
I'm waiting for the call from the webhost to say that we can start re-uploading all of our files. It's going to be a very long process unfortunately. In the meantime I at least corrected some of the photos on my blog by uploading them directly to blogger. It was too depressing to see all of the blanks and little red X's. I'm going to try to get a little sleep now before the call comes through because I have a feeling it's going to be a long night.

I don't have anything planned this weekend so if you need any help just let me know mate.
Rich.
Thanks for the update, Pixie. I was trying to on Punished Brats earlier and the sign in screen kept refusing to identify my password. I was wondering what the heck was going on....and then I came here and read your helpful note.
Good luck with getting everything back in order!
I guess I'm wondering how something like this could happen. It's encouraging to know I wasn't uniquely set adrift, but I've never heard of an actual site being derailed. Best of luck in reopening for business!
The web hosting company we use not only experienced a crash on the server that our site is housed on, but it also affected the backup server that held all of the backup copy files!!! This means that everything created and posted after November 1st was lost.
We are devestated over what has happened to our beloved site and very upset that not only our site went down but that the backup files have been lost without hope of being retrieved.
We are beginning to build again. I am reloading all of the photos and pages now. Eric is working on uploading the video clips. Unfortunately this is a very time consuming process.
Eric will be uploading the complete movie clips in WMV format first so that at least the scenes should be able to be viewed in some way ASAP. This still means a lot of broken links in the meantime though, but I will try to temporarily delete the links for the segment clips and RM files and then add them back once Eric has uploaded them again.
We anticipate it taking a couple of weeks to fully recover from this terrible crash and restore all of the archives, preview clips, etc as reloading and in some cases re-editing 5 months of content that suddenly went poof is a huge project. During this time we will keep the doors open, will move as quickly as possible to restore order, and will continue to provide updates with new content.
Unfortunately this weekend's shoot will be cancelled to allow the PB Team more time to focus on fixing the site. We hope to reschedule our shoot in a few weeks.
I have placed a small note about the crash and state of the site on several pages of PB and I will post a more detailed account and status update once I've uploaded at least the basic structure of the site again.
Thank you to everyone for your patience, your support, and your kind wishes!
I wish there was something I could do to help you all...but since I'm way down here, I'll just wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery! I'm sorry to hear that so much was lost--hopefully it'll be back to normal very soon.
Ruby
Hi Pixie,
I am so sorry to see this happen.
Atleast you guys still have all the orginal footage and pics from all the shoots. I know it's going to be very time consuming to put everything back together. If there's anything I can do to help, please E-mail or call me.
I wish you guys good luck and warm wishes in putting PB back together.
Talk to ya soon,
Razor
Wow, that sucks! :( Doesn't David have a lot of the content burned on DVDs? I know I have the last 2 months or so, unless everything you did hadn't been edited and burned yet. Let me know if I can do anything to help. I'm sending my kisses so your boo boo feels better. (Well, it works with my 2 year old nephew...)
In the meantime, I'll be waiting for the scene ideas that come out of this one.
Thanks everyone. We are continuing to experience many headaches and difficulties that Go Daddy is slowly (hopefully) sorting out.
As for the content, while yes we do have all of the scenes on CDs, not all of the content was saved in the formats we need for web viewing. Nothing is lost for good. It's just a matter of time to get us back to where we were.
