Childhood Spanking Games

Like many natural born spankos I've talked to, my spanko-ness was evident even as a little kid. I can remember looking up the word "spank" in the dictionary (always with the ready excuse that I was just researching the definition of "spangle" or something) and getting an embarrassing little charge out of it. Any unexpected reference to spanking on TV or in a book cause my heart to beat a little faster. And I'd replay the conveyor belt style spanking machine scene from a Bugs Bunny cartoon over and over in my mind. Yep, total spanko kid.

So it's no surprise that even years later I still can clearly remember a couple of spanking games I played. One was very simple. My cousin and I would hold on to one another by joining left hands as if we were about to shake hello and then spin ourselves in a circle trying to run just a little faster to reach out and smack the other's bottom. We must have looked like a dog chasing it's own tail!

The other game was one we learned in fifth grade gym class. The gym teacher announced we'd be playing a game of "Beat Your Bottom" and I did my best not to let my eyes pop out of my head. As we sat in our little rows, or squads as we called them, many of us lifted a cheek off the floor and gave it a few smacks in response to the teacher. He then explained how the game was played.

It was much like a game of Tag except instead of one person being "It" and just touching another player to tag them out, we were each supplies with a beach ball in a net sack and had to smack another player on the butt with the netted ball to get them out while simultaneously protecting our own backside. Sadly we only played the game that one time, but that was the best day of gym class ever.

APW,

Wow, I don't recall ever having that much fun in gym class.

On the other hand, by the time I was in the fifth grade, I was a total closet spanko. I looked up all sorts of spanking-related words in the dictionary. Eventually, it opened to the page with the word spanking!

I remember worrying about somehow being outed. So perhaps that game wouldn't have been as pleasurable then as imagining it is today.

In any case, thanks for the fun memories!

Best,
Bonnie

Sounds like a fun game. Something your teacher just thought up on their own. Can't recall anything like that from our school days. The spanking games of our youth were all played at home. Nothing as clever as what you and your cousin did though! Spanking being part of make-believe... like playing house... was all we could think of.

Do you know if your cousin grew up to be a spanko too?

We've done a few posts on spanking games that adults can play. Seems like a lot of spankos just add spanking to a regular game. Kind of like what you said... the ping-pong loser gets a spanking. That, or they bet on something and use a spanking as the prize.

Here is a fun post we did about a game called 'Spankopoly':

The recollections from your youth were very cool. Thanks for sharing them.

Hello Pixie, I love your blog and your remembering about that Warner Bros. cartoon, about the spanking machine, I remember that to, my ears would always get a little pointy when ever there was a spanking scene in a cartoon or movie when I was a kid , now all grown up and spanking naughty brats, a great life, again thanks for your blog. bottomtamter

I played spanking games with my cousin too, but I'm embarrased to ask if he's still into that. I was also on a boarding school spanking list when I was like 12 and my sister caught me! I almost died! :P

jwilly - thanks. :)

bonnie - gah! I would have been totally paranoid that the dictionary opening to the page spank was listed on would give me away. I was even afraid that somehow my thoughts of spanking would drift out of my head, through the ceiling, and into my parents' bedroom and I'd be found out that way. Thankfully that's not the case ... errr, right?

Todd & Suzy - spankopoly looks fantastic!! I'd play that all the time if I could. I used to make spanking board games a lot to play when I was with my ex including Spanks & Paddles (on a Chutes & Ladders board), Spanking Clue, and Spank-o (based on Uno). We should get together and have Game Night. :)

I don't know if my cousin grew up to be a spanko. He's in Germany and so there's distance and a language barrier. Not a subject I'd want to involve an interpreter in.

outlaw - dodge ball is fun too, but I have a feeling you would have liked beat your bottom even more.

bottomtamer - WB cartoons were the best for spanking references. Those images are still clear in my mind.

chloe – why am I not surprised that you were on the boarding school spanking list?? Tsk tsk. You should try to be better behaved … like me. *cough!*

Great post! I too was a born spanko. I got spanked every once in a while as a child, but it was always with an open hand over clothing. And I was always curious about what other things felt like (yes, my friends thought me a strange one). And whenever I played "house" or "school" with my cabbage patch dolls (remember those?) if they were "in trouble" I would pull their pants down and spank them with a ping pong paddle. Nothing like that would've EVER happened to me but I had to do it to my dolls. Paddle them on the bare. Just the way I like it now!!!

I have been reading your back entries today and I found this one...I remember having squads in gym class too, and we too played his game in my gym class, but not sure what grade. Must be a Jersey thing!
